ABOUT US
Not preservation. Preservation is a museum — a story behind glass, safe and unread.
Survival is different. A story survives when someone who has never heard of it picks it up and can't put it down. That happens in one generation or it doesn't happen at all.
Nila Entertainment exists to make that transfer happen on purpose.
A storytelling company built around a single conviction: the great stories of the world deserve better than being remembered.
We adapt timeless literature into work built for people encountering it for the first time — graphic novels, motion comics, and story-led learning, with more forms to come as we earn them.
We are early. Our first story is Ponniyin Selvan, Kalki Krishnamurthy's epic of the Chola empire. Everything we know about how to do this well, we're learning by doing it there first.
PURPOSE · VISION · MISSION
To ensure timeless stories continue to inspire every generation — through entertainment, learning and experience.
To become the company the world trusts with its greatest stories. Not the largest catalogue — the one where the adaptation is worth the original.
To honour timeless stories through exceptional craft, faithful research and thoughtful innovation — and to put them in front of audiences who would otherwise never have found them.

Interactive and immersive formats, as the technology earns its place in the storytelling
The original author isn't here to defend the work. We act as though they were.
One adaptation done properly beats ten done quickly.
Our success is measured in people who didn't know the story yesterday.
If a decision only makes sense this quarter, it's the wrong decision.
These stories belong to communities before they belong to us.
We don't build content. We build the bridge a story crosses to reach the next generation.
Every illustration. Every frame. Every panel a child stops on.
Every great story deserves a new generation.
